FIH upholds "Safety First" as our core principle, striving to cultivate a healthy, safe, and sustainable work environment for all employees. We firmly believe that safe working conditions are the cornerstone of stable corporate development and the key to promoting employee well-being and long-term sustainable growth.
To effectively mitigate occupational risks, FIH implements proactive prevention and management measures covering various potential hazards, including mechanical, electrical, chemical, fire, and physical risks. We provide health and safety training in languages that employees can easily understand, ensuring everyone is aware of their responsibilities and protective measures. All critical safety information is prominently posted throughout our facilities to ensure immediate accessibility.
FIH continuously integrates advanced detection and monitoring systems to establish robust control and prevention mechanisms. We conduct regular safety inspections and emergency drills to minimize the occurrence of incidents. Furthermore, FIH actively participates in collective bargaining agreements through the Hon Hai Technology Group’s labor unions, collaborating to safeguard the health and safety rights of our workforce while driving continuous improvements in safety management across all sites.
FIH strictly complies with both international and local occupational health and safety regulations. We continuously refine our internal management framework in alignment with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and SA 8000 (Social Accountability International Standard). These standards encompass rigorous requirements for working hours, rest periods, and safety protections, ensuring that all employees work in a healthy and respectful environment.
To ensure the effective implementation of these systems, we allocate substantial resources to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) management and have established a dedicated EHS Committee to oversee and advance our safety policies. FIH conducts internal audits and management reviews of its EHS systems at least once a year. Additionally, each manufacturing site performs quarterly safety audits and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and full compliance with our safety protocols.
