Protecting natural ecosystems and biodiversity is one of FIH’s key sustainability priorities. To minimize impacts on the surrounding environment, all of our manufacturing facilities are located outside protected ecological areas and are equipped with dedicated waste storage facilities and compliant chemical warehouses, enabling effective environmental risk management at the source.

As a member of the Foxconn Technology Group, FIH adheres to the Hon Hai Technology Group(Foxconn) Biodiversity and No Deforestation Commitment, actively supporting the principles of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and complying with applicable forestry regulations in the regions where we operate. Through these efforts, we are working toward the goal of zero deforestation across our operations and value chain.

To enhance environmental awareness among employees, we actively encourage participation in a variety of environmental initiatives, including beach cleanups, river cleanups, and Tree Planting Day activities, fostering a shared commitment to ecological conservation. In addition, our Hengyang facility has launched an environmental education program featuring engaging training courses and hands-on activities designed to strengthen employees’ environmental knowledge and inspire greater participation in sustainability practices.
