Decarbonization Strategy and Roadmap
FIH is committed to achieving its energy efficiency targets and has communicated them to all relevant business units and departments. Hon Hai Technology Group, FIH’s parent group, signed the SBTi commitment letter in 2021. The SBTi validated its near-term targets in 2023, and its long-term and net-zero targets in 2024. FIH falls within the boundary of these targets, which reflects our commitment to decarbonization.
GHG Emissions Distribution and Analysis
FIH has made significant progress in energy management and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction. Using 2020 as its base year, the Group set a target to reduce absolute GHG emissions and electricity consumption by an average of 4.2% per year. As of 2025, GHG emissions had fallen 73.06% from the base year, and purchased non-renewable electricity had fallen 72.05%. These reductions far exceed the original target and show the Group’s steady progress toward its climate goals.
