Enterprise Risk Management

The FIH Board of Directors holds the ultimate responsibility for the Group’s internal control and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems, ensuring their effective operation to maintain a robust management framework while pursuing operational and strategic objectives. The Board oversees designated units in executing risk management processes—including risk identification, assessment, control, and continuous monitoring—to ensure that all risks are managed within acceptable levels.

To strengthen the integration of sustainability risks, the FIH ERM team collaborates closely with the Sustainability Promotion Office (SPO), incorporating sustainability-related risks into daily risk assessment processes and internal control systems. Furthermore, the ERM team provides risk management training for the Board and senior management, enhancing their core competencies in strategic risk management and internal control.

The training curriculum covers crisis prevention, early detection, response, mitigation, and recovery. It emphasizes learning from past incidents to refine future risk management practices. Through these institutionalized training programs, we ensure that the Board and management evaluate, understand, and respond to material risk events in a consistent and comprehensive manner.

Information Security Management

FIH is committed to protecting the information security and privacy of all stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, employees, and consumers. To ensure the effectiveness of our information security governance, we adopt the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) and consistently maintain the validity of our certifications. In 2024, the FIH Taiwan headquarters and major manufacturing sites in India successfully passed ISO 27001 audits, demonstrating our long-term commitment to information security.

Our information security management enhances the Group’s capability to protect networks, computer data, systems, equipment, and customer privacy. FIH has established an Information Security Governance Group and an Information Security Operations Group, which operate under the oversight of the Hon Hai Technology Group Information Security Committee. These units are responsible for securing internal infrastructure and data while safeguarding the intellectual property and privacy of our customers.
