As a member of Foxconn Technology Group—a principal member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)—FIH profoundly recognizes and embraces our social and environmental responsibilities as a responsible corporate citizen and a global industry leader. This commitment is reflected in the comprehensive integration of robust corporate governance practices throughout our operations and organizational structure.
The FIH Global Code of Conduct serves as the cornerstone policy of the Group, encompassing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as well as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dimensions. It is designed to provide definitive behavioral guidelines for management and employees alike, embodying our unwavering commitment to business ethics, corporate governance, and sustainable operations.
By entrenching the principles outlined in the FIH Global Code of Conduct into our core organizational functions, we establish a foundation for success, integrity-based management, and the creation of a positive impact on society.
The Code of Conduct covers a wide range of areas, including business ethics, labor and human rights, health and safety, environmental protection, management systems, responsible minerals sourcing, anti-corruption, anti-slavery, and community engagement. Its content is based in part on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and draws on international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. To ensure effective implementation, FIH has also established the Responsibility Standards as a supplementary document to help employees and suppliers put the relevant requirements into practice in their day-to-day operations. Compliance is jointly overseen by multiple functions, including the Sustainability Committee, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and the ESG Team, and is verified through tools such as audits and benchmarking. In addition, all management and employees are required to complete a two-hour mandatory Code of Conduct training course every year.
