FIH Expands Certifications to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and TISAX, Setting the Standards for Global Information Security and Corporate Governance

FIH has officially obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification for its Global Headquarters and the Mexico site. This milestone aligns with Foxconn’s sustainability long-term goal of achieving "100% ISO 27001 certification coverage across all critical sites." Furthermore, FIH recently acquired the Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) certification, the global automotive industry standard for information security, further cementing its position as a trusted partner in the international supply chain and laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth and business expansion.

In an increasingly interconnected global supply chain, high system integration has intensified cybersecurity risks, making robust information security a decisive factor in supplier evaluation. Among these benchmarks, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the widely recognized international standard for ISMS. Directly addressing these critical demands, FIH’s recent verification scope covers the development, maintenance and management of core systems, network infrastructure management and related support activities. This focus underscores its ability to systematically identify and mitigate evolving cyber threats with high risk-awareness.

Data protection and information security are regarded as key strategic priorities within FIH’s corporate governance framework. FIH is committed to safeguarding information security, privacy, and sensitive data of its key stakeholders, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of information assets. FIH operates through two specialized units: the Information Security Governance Team, which oversees the formulation of information security governance strategies, and the Information Security Maintenance Team, which manages security frameworks, infrastructure, and protection mechanisms. To bolster supply chain resilience, FIH enforces strict compliance for suppliers and actively exchanges cybersecurity intelligence with internal and external partners. This proactive approach enables timely threat alerts and the implementation of preventative measures to effectively minimize risk exposure.

Beyond overall corporate security, FIH continues to achieve key security milestones across its three core business categories, including automotive electronics. Notably, both the Global Headquarters and the Mexico site have acquired TISAX certification, a vital security threshold for the European automotive supply chain. In the era of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), automotive electronics play a crucial role in data exchange and transmission. By meeting these stringent requirements, FIH demonstrates its expertise in protecting confidential data within the automotive supply chain, ensuring continuous alignment with international industry standards.

Furthermore, FIH’s Telematics Control Unit (TCU) has demonstrated exceptional technical maturity, successively obtaining ISO 26262 Functional Safety certification and ISO/SAE 21434 Automotive Cybersecurity certification. The TCU has also met various international regulations, including ASPICE CL2, UN ECE R155, and R156. Through continuous technical refinement and rigorous compliance, FIH ensures its products are ready for safe and reliable global deployment, further reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the supply chain.
